Job summary

Sarimonde Foods Corporation is seeking a hands-on Machine Operator-Technician to operate and monitor production machines for bread and baked goods. You will understand the process, perform basic troubleshooting, and support preventive maintenance while upholding quality and food safety standards.

You will follow GMP, coordinate with maintenance teams, record production data, and assist with changeovers and line preparation, aiming to meet safety and production targets in a fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• Graduate of Technical/Vocational course, preferably related to Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, Electronics, or any related field.
• With experience in machine operation, production, or equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates of technical courses may also be considered, depending on capability and training background.
• Knowledge in basic machine troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Willing to work in a food manufacturing plant.
• Willing to work on shifting schedule, overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• With good attention to detail, discipline, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production machines based on standard operating procedures.
• Monitor machine performance, product flow, and production output.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and adjustment when needed.

About the Role

We are looking for a Machine Operator-Technician who will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machines used in the manufacturing of bread and baked products.

This role is not just machine operation. The Machine Operator-Technician is expected to understand the machine process, perform basic troubleshooting, support preventive maintenance activities, and help ensure that production runs safely, efficiently, and according to quality and food safety standards.

What Does a Machine Operator-Technician Do?

The Machine Operator-Technician operates assigned production equipment and makes sure that the machine is running properly during production. They monitor machine performance, check product quality, perform basic adjustments, identify abnormalities, and coordinate with Maintenance, QA, and Production leaders when issues occur.

They help prevent breakdowns by conducting routine checks, cleaning, inspection, and basic machine care. They also support production targets by ensuring that machines are operated correctly and safely.
