United Pulp and Paper Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Electrical Engineer to lead and supervise electrical activities within the plant.
You will prioritize tasks, ensure safety and compliance, and drive the maintenance program for all electrical systems and equipment. You will oversee installation and project-related activities, monitor performance, coordinate with other departments, and promote adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
Supervise and prioritize all electrical work assignments within the facility
Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct procedural training for staff
Oversee the implementation of the electrical maintenance program for systems and equipment
Manage installation and project-related activities for electrical systems
Monitor and maintain electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance
Coordinate with other departments to support operational requirements
Promote adherence to safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications:
Registered Electrical Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience in electrical and instrumentation work, especially in supervision and management, is an advantage
Strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems
Familiarity with software and tools for design, troubleshooting, and maintenance is a plus
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
Can work independently with minimal supervision
