Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
2-3 years of experience in a technical support, field service, or customer-facing engineering role.
Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, components, and circuitry.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment commonly used in electrical and electronic engineering.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse complex technical problems systematically.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
Experience with remote support tools and software ticketing systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach.
Certification in relevant technical fields or product-specific training is preferred.
Experience with specific electronic products or systems relevant to telecommunications or industrial applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote assistance for electrical and electronic products.
Diagnose and troubleshoot product issues, documenting problems and solutions in a systematic manner.
Collaborate with engineering and development teams to elevate complex technical issues and identify product improvements.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles.
Conduct product training and demonstrations for customers to ensure optimal product utilisation.
Track and monitor customer issues from initial report through resolution, ensuring timely follow-up and closure.
Identify trends in customer issues and provide feedback to product development teams for continuous improvement.
Maintain detailed records of all support interactions and maintain professional communication standards.
Assist in the development of technical solutions and workarounds for identified product issues.
