Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc is seeking an Electrical Planning Engineer for our telecommunications project team. The role focuses on electrical planning, site acceptance, documentation, and coordination with vendors and clients.

You will conduct site surveys, review engineering documents, manage project trackers, and ensure adherence to standards. A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 2–3 years telecom experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in Telecommunications is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical works, systems and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Site / ISDP / Live Remote Acceptance with complete documentation from prerequisites to final billing.
• Prepare and review Pre-PAT documents, PAT checklists and related documents.
• Conduct JTSS, site audits, surveys, and site-related activities.
• Prepare site survey, audit and assessment reports.
• Review and approve TSSR, SI, ORF, DDD and other engineering plans.
• Manage database endorsement and project updates.
• Perform MDB, HLD/LLD, TowerCo assessments and other technical assessments.
• Create and maintain project trackers and databases.
• Attend regular cadence meetings and coordinate with clients and vendors.
• Handle PR/PO creation, processing and monitoring, including PCR alignment and PO reallocation.

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Electrical Planning Engineer to join our telecommunications project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical planning, site acceptance, technical assessment, documentation, vendor coordination, and project monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Site / ISDP / Live Remote Acceptance, including complete documentation from prerequisites through final billing

• Prepare and review Pre-PAT documents, PAT checklists, DDD/As-Built documents, PL clearing, BOQ validation, PAC/FAC review, COCA, and other required documents

• Conduct JTSS, site audits, site surveys, site hunting, and other site-related activities

• Prepare site survey, audit, and assessment summary reports

• Review and approve TSSR, SI, ORF, DDD, and other engineering plans

• Handle database endorsement and project updates

• Conduct MDB Assessment, HLD/LLD Assessment, TowerCo Assessment, and other required technical assessments

• Create and maintain project trackers and databases

• Attend regular project cadence meetings and coordinate with clients and vendors

• Handle PR/PO creation, processing, and monitoring, including PCR alignment and PO reallocation

About you

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

• Licensed Electrical Engineer is preferred

• At least 2–3 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry

• Strong background in electrical works, systems, and engineering standards

• Familiar with telecommunications company engineering standards and specifications

• Experience coordinating workloads with other domains such as Power, Telecom, and other departments

• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Drive, etc.)

• Knowledgeable in applications used for project reporting, documentation, and project management

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
