Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement power supply systems (AC/DC, UPS, solar, gensets) for telecom sites including BTS, data centers, and remote installations.
Perform electrical load analysis, grounding system designs, and protection coordination for telecom infrastructure.
Conduct site inspections and electrical system audits to ensure compliance with safety codes and telecom standards.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems supporting network operations (power distribution panels, breakers, rectifiers, etc.).
Prepare technical drawings, electrical schematics, and BOQ using CAD or equivalent tools.
Collaborate with civil, RF, and network engineers on integrated telecom site designs.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults or outages at telecom sites.
Monitor the performance and efficiency of power systems and suggest improvements.
Ensure compliance with national electrical codes (NEC, IEC) and telecom regulatory requirements.
Support green energy initiatives (solar hybrid systems, battery banks) where applicable.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a telecommunications focus.
2+ years of experience in electrical design or maintenance in the telecom industry.
Strong understanding of power systems, including AC/DC conversion, backup power, grounding, and surge protection.
