Flat Planet Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Makati, Philippines. The role starts onsite for a month and then shifts to a work-from-home setup under a hybrid model.

You will prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, electrical, and renewable energy projects, analyze drawings, and manage tender submissions while coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years estimating experience within Power, Electrical Services or utilities industries.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Diploma or Certificate in a construction-related discipline (or equivalent).
• Proficient in estimating software and the MS Office Suite (Excel in particular).
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, tenders, letters of offer and bid submissions for civil, electrical services, power, maintenance and renewable energy projects.
• Manage the estimating of RFTs from the market, including quantity take-offs and procuring prices to produce new tenders.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and contract documents to define scope and identify inclusions and exclusions.
• Conduct desktop site assessments to inform accurate pricing.
• Source quotations, liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare letters of offer for review and sign-off by Company Directors and attend pricing reviews for tenders and quotes.
• Identify risks early and plan projects accordingly.
