Job summary

Renesource Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical installation works for a solar farm project in the Philippines.

The role focuses on site implementation, inspection, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with approved designs and safety requirements. You will supervise installation of PV systems, DC/AC cabling, inverters, transformers, switchgear, grounding, and related systems, and coordinate with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• REE license preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical construction, solar PV, renewable energy, or power projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Willing to work on-site and travel as required.
• Strong site supervision and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation works per drawings, SLDs, and specs.
• Ensure site installation follows approved electrical design.
• Monitor PV systems, DC/AC cabling, inverters, transformers, switchgear, grounding.
• Inspect workmanship and materials for compliance with specs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and project disciplines.
• Identify and report site issues and deviations for resolution.
• Supervise testing and commissioning activities.
• Maintain inspection, testing, progress, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation works in accordance with approved drawings, SLDs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Ensure actual site installation strictly follows the approved electrical design.
• Monitor installation of PV systems, DC/AC cabling, inverters, transformers, switchgear, grounding, and related electrical systems.
• Inspect workmanship, materials, and equipment for compliance with approved specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project disciplines.
• Identify and report site issues, deviations, and technical concerns for proper resolution.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical testing and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and maintain inspection, testing, progress, and other project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code, project standards, and HSE requirements.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) preferred.
