MYKREAT CORPORATION is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design and implement solar PV systems, including grid-tied and hybrid configurations. You will prepare SLDs, wiring diagrams, layouts and perform detailed electrical calculations for safe, compliant installations.
The role involves site inspections, coordination with clients and contractors, and supervision of installation teams. Travel locally and abroad is expected; strong safety and communication skills are essential.
Design and develop electrical systems for solar PV installations, including grid-tied and hybrid systems.
Prepare electrical plans, single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, layouts, and other engineering documents.
Perform electrical calculations, including load analysis, voltage drop, cable sizing, breaker sizing, and system capacity.
Select appropriate solar modules, inverters, batteries, protection devices, cables, and other electrical equipment.
Review project requirements, site conditions, electrical loads, and utility requirements.
Conduct site inspections, surveys, and assessments for solar installation projects.
Supervise and provide technical guidance to installation teams and subcontractors.
Ensure proper installation of PV modules, inverters, electrical panels, grounding systems, protection devices, and related equipment.
Conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance verification of solar PV systems.
Diagnose electrical and solar system issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, utility companies, and other project stakeholders.
Ensure that projects comply with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company requirements.
Prepare and review technical reports, material specifications, testing reports, and as-built documentation.
Assist in preparing project cost estimates, material take-offs, and technical proposals when required.
Monitor project progress and ensure that electrical works are completed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Provide technical support for system operation and maintenance after installation.
Stay updated on solar technology, electrical standards, equipment, and industry best practices.
Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE/PEE)
Knowledge/experience in Solar PV & electrical installation
Familiar with hybrid solar systems, inverters & batteries is an advantage
Willing to travel locally and abroad
Physically fit and willing to work on-site
