The Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) at Sasonbi Inc. will design, plan, supervise, test, and commission electrical systems for solar PV projects, ensuring PEC compliance, safety, and timely delivery.

You will coordinate with managers, clients, contractors, and agencies while guiding technicians and supporting project execution across sites nationwide. Ideal candidates hold a PRC-registered EE license with 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with a valid PRC license.
  • At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, solar PV, construction, or renewable energy projects. Freshly licensed REEs are encouraged to apply for entry-level positions.
  • Knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, electrical design, and power distribution.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites nationwide.
  • Valid driver's license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Design and review electrical systems for solar PV projects, including single-line diagrams, layouts, and electrical calculations.
  • Prepare electrical plans, load schedules, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for solar installations.
  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
  • Ensure compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), local regulations, and company standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
  • Review project drawings and recommend technical improvements when necessary.
  • Perform electrical inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and operation.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to project schedules and quality standards.
  • Prepare engineering reports, inspection reports, testing results, and project documentation.
  • Assist in securing permits, utility interconnection requirements, and project approvals.
  • Ensure strict compliance with occupational health and safety policies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Solar PV Technicians and other project personnel.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager or Project Manager.
