Job summary

First Multi Tech Industrial & Development Corp. in Mandaluyong seeks a Costing Engineer who will prepare accurate project estimates and cost data for proposals and negotiations. You will analyze drawings, determine requirements, and coordinate with Sales, BDD, and Technical teams to align scope and deadlines.

You should hold a degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering and a licensed professional engineer. Strong MS Excel skills and experience with Plan Swift or AutoCAD are preferred to ensure

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• License in Electrical or Civil Engineering is a must.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cost analysis.
• Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office programs.
• Operating knowledge and experience with Plan Swift, AutoCAD, or other design software and engineering tools.
• Proficient with computer programs and a working knowledge of new technology.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co‑workers, outside agencies, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects.
• Prepare cost data for proposals and contract negotiations.
• Determine project scope, define requirements, coordinate scope with Sales, BDD Team, and Technical Group to meet deadlines.
• Establish quote priorities based on evaluation and analysis of opportunities.
• Estimate materials and labor for bidding.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine costs.
• Provide cost analysis and recommendations to improve profitability.
