Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a Civil Estimator to prepare accurate quotations for civil works, review drawings, and develop detailed BOQs for tenders. You will monitor costs, conduct risk analyses, and support bid strategies to secure opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying degree and at least 5 years of estimating experience, with proficiency in Excel, Expert Estimation or Candy, AutoCAD, and ERP tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of civil estimating experience, preferably on AUD $10M–$50M+ projects.
• Demonstrated experience in tender preparation and bid strategy.
• Strong understanding of civil construction disciplines: bulk earthworks, drainage, FRP concrete, roadworks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and tenders for civil works.
• Review technical drawings, specs, and tender docs; produce detailed BOQs.
• Develop cost estimates aligned with budgets, margins, and commercial requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct cost and risk analysis; identify assumptions, exclusions, and risks.
