Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analysing project specifications, drawings and requirements.
• Research material costs, labour rates and equipment rental fees from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Utilise estimating software to develop accurate project budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to gather project information.
• Review contracts and tender documents to identify cost variables and risks.
• Prepare bid proposals and cost breakdowns for clients and managers.
• Monitor and track actual costs against estimates to identify variances.
