Qualifications

• College degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Sales experience is an advantage but not required.
• Understanding of electrical industry and products.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new accounts from referrals, telemarketing, cold calls, and other leads.
• Support growth by expanding offerings to existing clients to develop and sustain captive customers.
• Design and implement a coverage work plan to ensure regular account visits.
• Gather customer requirements and prepare proposals for standard product offers.
• Endorse non-standard product inquiries to the Design Development Team for evaluation and costing.
• Coordinate with Finance for credit investigation and documentation.
• Solicit inputs from Legal Counsel for major contracts.
• Prepare proposals with drawings, costings, and bill of materials from concerned departments.
• Negotiate with client and consult Sales Head before proposal submission.
• Occasionally join site visits for pre- and ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with Customer Service for SOF preparation and attachments.
• Prepare yearly forecast and budget.
• Monitor project progress and sales development with Customer Service support.
• Monitor competitor activities and pricing in the trade.
• Represent the company at client events and anniversaries to maintain relations.
• Assist in collection of overdue accounts.
• Contribute to Objectives, Plans, Forecasts, and Budgets.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work area.
