ENGIE Services (Philippines) seeks an EHS professional to implement and monitor workplace safety programs across sites in the Metro Manila region. You will lead risk assessments, conduct audits, and drive regulatory compliance while supporting site teams in safety initiatives.
The role requires a 4-year engineering background, SO2/SO3 certification or equivalent, and 2–3 years in a similar function, with proven leadership and communication skills.
This role involves implementing and monitoring EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies, procedures, and programs across assigned sites, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards while supporting site teams in risk management and safety initiatives.
Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and programs across all assigned sites.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and company standards.
Monitor the implementation of control measures for identified hazards.
Support site teams in conducting/checking/developing risk assessments and Methodology.
Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
Prepare/Check incident investigation reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Track and verify the closure of corrective actions.
Maintain accurate incident records and reporting systems.
Conduct EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Develop and deliver safety awareness campaigns/Trainings.
Support competency development programs related to health, safety, and environmental management.
Promote employee engagement in EHS initiatives.
Ensure compliance with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards and other applicable regulations.
Assist in regulatory inspections and audits.
Review contractor EHS qualifications and documentation.
Monitor contractor compliance with site safety requirements.
Participate in contractor evaluations and performance reviews.
Conduct contractor safety orientations and inspections.
Prepare monthly EHS reports.
Monitor EHS KPIs and performance metrics.
Maintain EHS records, statistics, and documentation.
Present EHS performance updates during management meetings
Graduate of any 4-year or engineering course
Certified Safety Officer (SO2/SO3) preferred.
With Advance safety related training and certification
With 40 hours Bureau prescribed training and certified – BOSH/COSH
With basic facilities management or construction management background
2 to 3 years’ experience in similar function
