Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in DOLE/DENR reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Implement and maintain the company’s Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS) programs, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.




• Conduct site inspections, EOHS audits, and safety assessments to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and required corrective actions.




• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and safety personnel to ensure project safety requirements are properly implemented.




• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and KYK/KYM discussions to educate workers on safety procedures, job hazards, and accident prevention.




• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents and incidents, and recommend appropriate corrective actions, emergency procedures, drills, evacuation plans, and first-aid measures.




• Monitor the availability and proper use of approved safety tools, equipment, and protective devices, and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards.




• Complete and submit required safety reports, forms, checklists, and records on time, while coordinating with government agencies and ensuring compliance with company IMS procedures and other assigned safety-related tasks.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduate of 4-year College Course with Diploma




2. Must have undergone safety related training by an accredited training organization (COSH)




3. At least 3 years' work experience in controlling safety rules and regulations at project site, such as undertaking safety orientation, safety inspection & patrol




4. Knowledge in the implementation and supervision of OHS Standard and other requirement and legal requirements, rules & regulations and practice.




5. Experience in the preparation of reports required by DOLE & DENR on scheduled submission




6. Fully conversant with Microsoft Office Software
