Job summary

Eastwest Ageas Insurance in Taguig, Philippines is seeking a Banca Educator to deliver learning and development programs across the organization. The role involves analyzing training needs, designing and developing learning materials, and implementing and evaluating program effectiveness.

You will conduct New Hire Training to achieve a 100% graduation rate, organize internal consultations, review curricula, and design modules for product launches and system updates.

Qualifications

• University graduate with at least 3 years of general training experience.
• At least 2 years in the insurance industry and sales exposure preferred.
• Certifications in adult learning or learning design preferred.
• Proficient in English and Filipino; knowledge of a local dialect is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs and aim for 100% graduation rate for New Hire Training.
• Organize internal consultations to identify learning programs supporting the business.
• Review curricula with the Training Lead and team.
• Design learning materials for product launches and system updates.
• Design and conduct end-to-end training modules for the sales team and bancassurance partners.
• Participate in initiatives that strengthen the learning culture at Eastwest Ageas Insurance.
• Travel to facilitate off-site training as needed.
• Coordinate training logistics, materials, and travel arrangements.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training data and reports.

Job description

Overall purpose, duties and responsibilities of the role:

The Banca Educator is responsible in delivering learning and development programs effectively – from analyzing training needs, designing and developing learning materials, to implementing and evaluating program effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct of New Hire Training (NHT) with a clear target of 100% graduation rate based on NHT exams and accreditation
• Organize internal client consultations to identify learning programs that will support the business
• Conduct curriculum review with Banca Training Lead and the whole training team
• Design learning materials to support product launches and system updates aligned with the approved training curriculum based on the result of the learner needs analysis
• Design and conduct end-to-end training modules and classes as needed by the business which may include upskilling of the Banca Sales team in terms of product, new system and process roll outs, etc.
• Participation in programs that impact the learning culture of EWA.
• May involve travel to facilitate off-site training for bancassurance and bank partners
• Take charge of overall logistics preparation needed for a class which may include but not limited to necessary training materials, schedule arrangements and travel arrangements, as necessary.
• Conduct training evaluation to assess effectiveness of training design and delivery
• Maintain and manage training data including record keeping, reports preparation and performance monitoring.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using English and Filipino (+ 1 local dialect, preferred) both in written and oral communication
• Strong facilitation skills and classroom management
• Certifications in adult learning, learning design, facilitation skills preferred
• Familiarity with digital learning preferred
• University graduate a must
• Not less than 3 years of general training practice, two years of which should be in the insurance industry and at least 2 years of sales experience preferably in insurance
