COL Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Training and Development professional to design, implement, and optimize agent onboarding and insurance-related training programs.
The role focuses on creating engaging materials, delivering sessions in-person and online, and evaluating effectiveness to drive performance. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in training, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office; Canva skills are a plus.
Plans and executes training programs covering agent onboarding, product knowledge, compliance, licensing, and sales techniques.
Develops and maintains training materials, presentations, and other learning tools.
Delivers engaging training sessions through in-person and virtual formats.
Evaluates training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance tracking.
Collaborates with Compliance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure training content is accurate and aligned with business requirements.
Applies basic graphic design skills to enhance training materials for clarity and engagement.
Maintains accurate training records, attendance, and reports for monitoring and documentation.
Supports the coordination and execution of webinars, learning sessions, and training-related events.
Continuously improves training programs based on feedback, assessment results, and performance outcomes.
Performs other related duties and training initiatives as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or any related field.
At least 2 years of experience in training and development, preferably within the insurance industry.
Experience inagent onboarding, insurance product training, compliance, licensing, sales training, or agency/distribution training is highly preferred.
Experience in instructional design and training delivery is an advantage.
Relevant certifications such as CUSP, CIS, or CSR are preferred but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong facilitation and presentation abilities.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Canva or other graphic design/presentation tools is a plus.
