Trends Group, Inc. seeks an Information Security Engineer to assist in developing and enhancing EDR/NDR solutions. You will support client engagements, gather requirements, apply feedback, and collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery while gaining hands-on experience.
Based in Makati, the role is full-time onsite with opportunities to attend trainings and pursue relevant certifications. Degree in IT/CS/Engineering and 1–2 years in information security are preferred, with familiarity
Assist in developing and enhancing Endpoint and Network Detection and Response (EDR/NDR) solutions by supporting client engagements, gathering requirements, applying feedback, and collaborating with the team to ensure timely delivery while building hands‑on experience and continuous learning.
Support the administration and optimization of EDR/NDR platforms, including system availability, configuration documentation, and first-level support.
Maintain service catalogs, track SLA and OLA performance, and assist in implementing changes and projects. Handle access requests, incidents, and contribute to IT asset and operations management, including basic problem resolution.
Participate in process improvements, knowledge sharing, and team collaboration to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable EDR/NDR operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 1–2 years of experience in Information Security Engineering or completion of the MICTS Cadetship Program.
Familiarity with security solutions such as:
Basic knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and strong understanding of networking and security concepts.
Preferred but not required certifications: ISMS LA, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CEH, or related security certifications.
Full Onsite in Makati City
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders both onsite and remotely.
May require travel for client meetings, events, or conferences.
Expected to attend trainings and pursue relevant certifications.
