New Era Technology, LLC. is seeking a Security Solutions Engineer to deploy, configure, and support enterprise security solutions across endpoint, identity, network, and cloud environments.

You will work with global IT and compliance teams to maintain security posture and drive proactive improvements. Responsibilities include configuring Defender/Sentinel, managing EDR/XDR, conducting health checks, and supporting vulnerability management, audits, and runbooks while collaborating with

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security engineering or IT security roles.
• Experience with Defender, Sentinel, and EDR/XDR platforms.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (Tenable/Qualys).
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Understanding MFA, Conditional Access and identity security.
• Basic PowerShell, KQL, or automation scripting skills.
• Security certifications (SC-200/SC-300/SC-100) are a plus.
• MSP experience and ISO 27001/SOC 2 exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint, email, and network security solutions.
• Build and tune detection rules, alert policies, and playbooks.
• Onboard acquired entities into New Era's security stack.
• Monitor alerts, investigate events, and escalate incidents.
• Assist with incident response, containment, remediation, and recovery.
• Perform health checks on security tools, agents, and alerting systems.
• Administer identity security controls (MFA, CA, PAM).
• Support vulnerability management activities and security reporting.
• Collaborate with infra, apps, and governance teams on security best practices.
• Support audits and evidence collection for ISO27001/SOC 2.
• Maintain security documentation and runbooks.
• Research emerging threats and propose mitigations.
