Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a senior Operations leader to oversee fulfilment, inventory, warehousing and logistics across a regional ecommerce portfolio. You will build and coach a team of 5 Operations Executives, drive performance, and ensure top-quality post-purchase service.

You will partner with third-party warehouses, optimize stock health, monitor KPIs, and implement data-driven processes to reduce costs and scale operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading warehousing, logistics, fulfilment, or supply chain operations within ecommerce environments.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, and third-party logistics partnerships.
• Demonstrated success managing operational teams and developing high-performing individuals.
• Highly analytical with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
• Experience creating and implementing SOPs and scalable operational frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with exposure to commercial, client-facing, and cross-functional environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, marketplace operations, and fulfilment systems.
• Experience from logistics, ecommerce enablement, fulfilment, or last-mile delivery organizations will be highly advantageous.
• Background from companies such as logistics providers, ecommerce enablers, or technology-driven fulfilment businesses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operations function across fulfilment, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
• Manage and develop a team of 5 Operations Executives.
• Oversee the end-to-end post-purchase customer journey to ensure service quality.
• Partner with third-party warehouse and logistics providers to optimize performance.
• Monitor inventory health, stock accuracy, and warehouse KPIs.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive efficiency improvements.
• Establish, review, and enhance SOPs, workflows, and operating models.
• Drive cost management, scalability, and service levels.
• Collaborate with Brand Management and Commercial teams to align ops with business goals.
• Lead client-facing discussions and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Negotiate with external partners to meet operational and commercial objectives.
• Support P&L through effective operational planning and resource optimization.
• Ensure KPIs are consistently achieved and exceeded.
