Job summary

Antahin Abha Foundation is seeking an ICDS Implementation Lead to ensure the NRich ECCE programme reaches children in Anganwadi classrooms. You will travel across five Gram Panchayats, interact with Anganwadi workers, observe activities, and verify reports against on-the-ground practice.

You will lead a Master Trainer team, coach on content and field problem solving, and coordinate with curriculum, training and technology teams to improve implementation across roughly 170 centres.

Qualifications

• Willingness to be based in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, and to travel regularly to Anganwadi centres across rural Gram Panchayats.
• Fluency in Bengali with enough English to write reports and coordinate with internal teams.
• Experience leading or supervising a field team such as trainers or community workers.
• Comfort working with government systems and officials, including ICDS Supervisors and CDPOs.
• Experience with curriculum design or activity-based pedagogy is highly valued.
• Ability to collect structured field data and maintain clear records.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong working knowledge of the NRich ECCE curriculum, outcomes, activities and TLM.
• Learn how activities are conducted in ICDS classrooms, including digital materials via WhatsApp and chatbot.
• Conduct regular field visits across the 5 Gram Panchayats and speak with Anganwadi workers and teachers about usage.
• Gather structured information on activity adoption, TLM usage, digital engagement and problems faced by teachers.
• Validate reported data against classroom practice and identify centres needing extra support.
• Track adoption across roughly 170 centres: activity frequency, training completion and trainer coverage.
• Engage ICDS Supervisors and CDPOs on implementation progress and concerns.
• Lead the Master Trainer team: set priorities, allocate centres and run reviews.
• Coach Master Trainers on content and problem solving, organise refreshers where gaps appear.
• Report back field observations to curriculum teams and help adjust materials.
