Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist to drive growth on Lazada by acquiring, onboarding, and scaling new sellers and brands. The role focuses on fast-paced e-commerce success, strong relationship management, and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant experience, excels in communication and analytics, and can deliver insightful business reviews to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred; exceptional fresh graduates will also be considered.
• Background in fast-paced industries such as e-commerce, retail, distribution, or brand marketing/sales.
• Strong self-starter with a can-do attitude and enthusiasm for e-commerce and digital innovation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities and comfort with data.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with brand and seller partners.
• Confident in delivering business reviews and strategy decks to senior management.
• Experience in sales or account management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end acquisition of new sellers and brands onto the Lazada platform.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing sellers, brand partners, agencies, distributors, and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and utilize performance analytics to monitor seller progress and optimize marketing, product selection, pricing, and promos.
• Own and drive the growth of a personal portfolio of sellers and brands.
