Chimera Entertainment, a Munich-based independent game studio, is expanding its Cebu, Philippines team. We are seeking a skilled 3D Animator to bring characters to life across gameplay, interactions and cinematics, taking animations from keyframes to in-engine polish.

You will work closely with artists, designers and programmers to ensure animations meet visual and gameplay standards, manage rigs and retarget animations, and help improve our animation pipeline for multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a 3D Animator in game development.
• Strong animation fundamentals: timing, weight, posing, movement, character performance.
• Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating your animation skills.
• Experience with real-time game engines, preferably Unity or Unreal Engine.

Responsabilités

• Create high-quality 3D character animations for gameplay, interactions and cinematics.
• Develop expressive and believable animations using keyframe animation and motion capture data where applicable.
• Adapt animations to different gameplay requirements, visual styles and technical constraints.
• Implement, test and refine animations directly in the game engine.
• Create and adjust character rigs, perform skinning and retarget animations for different characters and skeletons.
• Work closely with artists, designers and programmers to ensure animations support visual quality and gameplay.
• Contribute to efficient animation workflows and continuously improve our animation pipeline.
