Qualifications

• BSN required with nursing background.
• CIC certification is required.
• 1–2 years of medical coding experience.
• 2–4 years of team lead or supervisory experience in BPO/healthcare operations.
• Strong inpatient coding knowledge and DRG methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the DRG coding team.
• Monitor coding accuracy, productivity, quality, and service levels.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities for coders.
• Assist in performance reviews and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and internal standards.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive performance.
• Conduct quality reviews and drive process improvements.
• Participate in coding education programs and calibration sessions.
• Support escalations, reporting, and special projects as needed.
