Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Distributor Management, Account Management, or FMCG/Consumer Goods.
• Experience managing distributors and working with distributor sales teams.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales and market data and translate insights into action.

Responsibilities

• Manage strong business relationships with assigned distributors and serve as the key contact for day-to-day business matters.
• Monitor distributor performance and conduct regular business reviews to address gaps and identify growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute distributor and territory sales plans aligned with Unicharm Philippines' business objectives.
• Drive achievement of sales targets by monitoring sell-in, sell-out, sales trends, and territory performance.
• Drive product distribution, availability, and visibility across assigned channels and outlets.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor execution, merchandising, pricing, competition, and customer needs.
• Partner with Trade Marketing, Marketing, and other relevant teams to plan and execute trade programs, promotions, merchandising, and commercial initiatives.
• Work with distributor management and sales teams to improve sales productivity, field execution, and market coverage.
• Monitor distributor inventory, stock movement, sell-in, and sell-out to maintain healthy inventory levels.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, promotions, distribution, and consumer developments within the assigned territory.

About the role

The Distributor Manager is responsible for managing and developing assigned distributors to achieve Unicharm Philippines' sales, distribution, and business objectives. The role serves as a key link between Unicharm and its distributor partners, ensuring effective execution of sales strategies, trade programs, distribution plans, and market initiatives within the assigned territory. The position is responsible for driving sustainable sales growth by maximizing distributor performance, improving product availability and market coverage, strengthening distributor relationships, and ensuring excellent execution in the trade.

About you

• Strong understanding of sales operations, distribution management, trade marketing execution, and territory management
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales and market data and translate insights into action
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Results-oriented and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Willing to conduct regular field and market visits and travel extensively within the assigned territory
