Dispatch Coordinator

Ortigas Site, Pasig City, Philippines

Reporting to: Team Leader

Essential Job Descriptions

• Handle Broker/Customer Accounts
• Assign drivers to routes
• Direct pick‑up and delivery of freight
• Monitor drivers’ locations
• Enter dispatch information and loads into trucking software
• Find road service for truck repairs
• Track orders and freight
• Transmit information to brokers and customers
• Find solutions for changes or problems, issue money orders
• Use satellites, telephones, and computers to communicate information to drivers and track important information
• Provide problem solutions with assigned drivers
• Track assigned drivers schedules and adjust unplanned paid time off
• Track driver utilization to achieve targeted utilization levels and improve productivity
• Ensure driver execution of assigned work
• Enforce understanding and compliance with all company policies, code of conduct
• Contribute to an atmosphere of trust and teamwork that values contributions of all employees in support of high-performance culture
• Work until driver issues are resolved for the day or a proper handoff has been made
• Monitor deliveries and pickups for service failures and proactively alert driver managers of any loads in jeopardy of failure
• Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time
• Secure workstation with password‑protected screensaver; log off when unattended
• Do not disclose password to others, comply with security procedures and confidentiality
