Job summary

Five9 is seeking a senior IT Operations and Strategy leader in Manila to serve as the operational backbone of the IT department, partnering with leadership to drive organizational transformation and ensure IT strategies align with business objectives.

You will own the global IT budget, manage spend, lead development and tracking of IT OKRs, and oversee governance, risk, and compliance while championing continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of progressive experience in IT Operations, IT Strategy, or IT Business Management.
• Proven track record of managing complex IT budgets, forecasting, and vendor relationships.
• Strong use of AI to build skills, agents and apps to improve IT efficiency.
• Deep understanding of OKR, ITIL, agile frameworks, and continuous improvement.
• Exceptional executive presence and storytelling capability.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, drive cross-functional alignment, and execute strategic initiatives without direct reporting lines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the operational backbone of the IT department.
• Partner with the IT leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders to drive organizational transformation.
• Manage financial performance and ensure IT strategies align with broader business objectives.
• Own the global IT budget, monitor spend, optimize costs, and ensure financial predictability.
• Lead development, alignment, and tracking of IT Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Champion and manage IT programs, advancing internal IT capabilities, tooling, and maturity.
• Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), presenting metrics, health, and roadmap progress to executives.
• Drive change management and continuous improvement initiatives within IT.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable frameworks.
• Establish and oversee IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and maintain operational integrity.
• Communicate IT department updates to the broader business.
