Shangri-La The Fort Manila is seeking a Director of Banquet Operations to lead the banquet division, drive profitability, and uphold quality standards within a premier Manila hotel.

Ideal candidates have a hospitality degree, 3+ years at international hotels, and strong budgeting, forecasting, and leadership abilities, with fluent English and a proactive, team-building mindset.

Formación

• College degree in Hospitality or similar field.
• At least 3 years experience in an international hotel in the same capacity.
• Knowledge of P&L reports, budgeting, forecasting.
• Fluent in oral and written English.

Job Description:

Shangri-La The Fort, Manila

Shangri-La The Fort, Manila is located within Fort Bonifacio, a former military base and city centre. With 60 storeys, comprising 576 hotel guestrooms and suites, 97 hotel residences and 98 exclusive Horizon Homes, the building is destined to become a Manila landmark. The new hotel will complement the company's five existing properties in the Philippines.

The mixed-use business, residential and retail tower is located along 30th Street corner 5th Avenue, within the new, fast-developing Taguig business district. It is a 30-minute drive from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The hotel is also close to the Manila Golf Club and Manila Polo Club, and is 10 minutes away from the Makati district, the capital's financial, cultural and entertainment hub with first-class shopping malls.

DUTIES

The Director of Banquet Operations is responsible for the administration and operation of the Banquets as so assigned including the maximization of the profits, establishment of the quality standards, maintenance of high staff performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Preferably a college graduate with a degree in Hospitality or in the same capacity.
• Preferably with at least 3 years experience in an international hotel in the same capacity.
• Preferably knowledgeable in P&L Report, Budgeting, Forecasting
• Preferaby fluent in oral and written English.
• Creative and with an eye for details.
• Outgoing and people oriented.
• Motivator, self-starter and a team-builder.
• Displays initiative and commitment to professional values.
• Right to unrestricted employment in the Philippines.
