Job summary

SM Retail Inc. is seeking a Product Owner/Business Analyst to guide IT-enabled initiatives. You will define roadmaps, translate business needs into solutions, and coordinate with stakeholders and development teams to ensure timely delivery.

You will monitor progress, develop tests, and support post-launch activities to ensure successful adoption of new platforms and customer-facing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a related IT solutions delivery role.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, solution design, and project coordination.
• Experience with digital platforms, mobile applications, CRM, loyalty systems, or customer-facing solutions is an advantage.
• A structured thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to connect business needs with technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain product roadmaps, priorities, and requirements aligned with business goals.
• Serve as the key point of contact for new business initiatives, system enhancements, and IT demands.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, and development teams to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
• Drive alignment on project scope, priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to keep initiatives on track.
• Develop test scripts and test cases to validate solutions against approved requirements.
• Support implementation, post-launch activities, and issue resolution to ensure smooth adoption.
