This role shall be reporting to the Digital Product Innovations Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategy and policy
- Keep apprised of market competitor developments (in the area of cost price, market price, market share, legislation and regulations, technological developments, distribution methods and other areas). Weighs up development of new products and services against procurement of possible subproducts.
- Initiates customer/market research & insight gathering when required. Design strategies in the area of products, channels, promotion, pricing, and product and process quality, in keeping with UNO’s brand policy and with customer interest as the starting point for their ideal customer journey. Translates the strategy into practical policy. Formulates the product, process and channel policy in keeping with:
- Assortment policy/range product offerings
- Internal and external legislation and regulations
- Process principles
- Direct implementation of strategy, tracks squad progress and adjusts wherever necessary in his or her role as a product owner
- Manages the backlog in view of current strategy, customer interests and feasibility in his or her role as product owner and in consultation with the tribe lead.
- Weighs up the implications of margins, volumes and market shares sets targets, always keeping customer interests a priority.
Customer Experience & Journey optimization
- Designs, maps and improves the performances of the Customer Journey by identifying and collecting available CX and data, and translating UX and IT-landscapes.
Products and services
- Applies product/service knowledge to develop and maintain an attractive and compliant value proposition and delivery excellence for customers.
- Develops, manages, harmonizes and phases out the customers processes of products and services, as well as everyday customer sales.
- Deals with the most urgent incidents and improvement needs.
- Proposes and implements structural improvements to work processes, following improvement need flagged up from within the touch point. Manages product risk and product requirements relating to the customer, supplier, and regulators.
Channels and/or Segments optimization
- Applies marketing and communication practices to develop and maintain an optimal (digital) mix for channel and/or segments performance.
Business to IT Delivery
- Has up-to-date knowledge of the business domain and the underlying application architecture + relevant IT landscape and technologies. Knowledgeable on IT opportunities to support business goals. Able to translate business and customer requirements into working features applications by collaborating with IT engineers.
- Ensures internal and external representation of the appropriate product types in various consultation bodies (as applicable)
Job Qualifications:
Educational and Professional Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science and related fields.
- At least 3-5 years of actual business analysis / business systems experience / journey mapping in a digital environment, space in a bank or fintech industry.
Experience
- Knowledgeable in banking processes and systems in general esp. on an understanding of integrations from front to back; Working knowledge / experience with the agile and waterfall approaches for project handling, management and execution.
Technical Competencies
- “Know-how” Uses technical expertise and experience to contribute to all sprint events (planning, refinements, retrospectives, demos).
Must possess all the qualifications and none of the disqualifications required of an Officer as set forth under existing regulations.
