About the role
We are looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to own demand generation for a US-based marketing consultancy serving high-ticket service businesses, while also helping build and deliver marketing solutions for its clients. This role combines internal growth marketing with client-facing marketing execution. You will build and optimize the consultancy's own acquisition engine while applying those same skills to client projects. The insights gained from client work will help improve internal marketing performance, while internal campaigns will serve as reference cases for client engagements. The business has established intellectual property, a defined target audience, and approximately 30,000 untapped prospects. The immediate priority is to build a measurable, repeatable acquisition engine from the ground up. This is not an entry-level position or a role where you simply execute predefined campaign briefs. You will have the autonomy to determine what to build, test, and optimize.
Key responsibilities
- Own GoHighLevel as the primary demand generation and marketing operations platform, building and managing funnels, pipelines, sequences, forms, calendars, tagging, and attribution
- Create and maintain landing pages and conversion pathways
- Maintain clean and reliable CRM data through deduplication, tag management, and accurate attribution
- Develop reporting systems that provide clear visibility into marketing performance
- Proactively recommend campaign ideas, automations, and platform improvements to enhance lead generation
- Build the acquisition engine from the ground up, including lead magnets, opt-in pathways, nurture sequences, and booking flows
- Activate an existing database of approximately 30,000 prospects through segmentation, list warming, deliverability management, and campaign scheduling
- Plan and execute email and content-driven campaigns from concept through performance measurement
- Coordinate with SEO agencies and external partners to align website and content activities with acquisition goals
- Conduct structured campaign testing, isolate variables, and use measurable results to guide optimization
- Research prospective clients ahead of sales presentations, including market analysis, competitive research, funnel reviews, and conversion opportunities
- Prepare pitch materials and client deliverables based on executive diagnostic findings
- Build client-facing funnels, email sequences, and campaign architecture as part of client engagements
- Apply insights from client projects to improve internal marketing systems and campaigns
- Provide weekly reports on funnel performance, lead generation, and campaign results
- Track measurable outcomes and communicate performance accurately
- Identify underperforming campaigns or processes early and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain campaign documentation and workflows in Notion to ensure information is organized and accessible
About you
- At least 5 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or marketing operations, with measurable results you can explain
- At least 3 years of daily, hands-on experience using GoHighLevel
- Ability to independently build funnels, pipelines, and automations in GoHighLevel
- Demonstrated email marketing expertise, including segmentation, deliverability, list warming, and lifecycle sequences
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to create marketing copy and client-facing materials
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to report performance accurately
- Ability to work independently, prioritize initiatives, and determine what needs to be built without waiting for detailed instructions
- Willingness and ability to work US Eastern business hours
- Regular use of macOS as a primary work environment and access to and familiarity with a MacBook or iMac
- Daily hands-on experience using Claude or a comparable AI assistant in a professional setting
- Ability to write effective prompts, critically evaluate AI-generated output, and make appropriate corrections
- Familiarity with building repeatable AI-assisted workflows rather than relying only on one-off prompts
- Good judgment when reviewing AI-generated research, marketing copy, and client-facing materials
