Job summary

HOYA CORPORATION in the Philippines seeks a Digital Literacy Specialist to enable employees to use our digital tools confidently. You will design learning, run sessions, and track whether changes stick after training.

You'll work with teams who struggle with new systems, create role-based paths, guides, and short videos, and report progress to the Digital Adoption Manager. This hands-on role combines analytics with practical coaching, across Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field required.
• 4 years in digital enablement, learning and development, training delivery, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of workplace platforms to teach employees.
• Ability to design learning materials from scratch.
• Confident facilitator with mixed skill levels.

Job description

The Digital Literacy Specialist helps employees across the organization build the confidence and practical skills to use our digital tools. This is a hands‑on enablement role: you will assess where capability gaps sit, design learning that closes them, run sessions that people find useful, and track whether behavior changes after the training ends.

You will work closest with the people who struggle most with new systems and act as their champion and translator into the digital way of working.

Digital Assessment

• Run digital skills assessments across departments and maintain a current picture of capability gaps by role, team, and system.
• Analyze support tickets, usage analytics, and adoption data to identify where users are getting stuck rather than relying only on self‑reported needs.
• Partner with department leads to translate business pain points into specific, teachable skill gaps.
• Build role-based learning paths, quick reference guides, short‑form video, and in‑app walkthroughs for core platforms (i.e. Teams).
• Communicate for a non‑technical audience: plain language, task‑based instructions, real work scenarios instead of generic demos.
• Maintain a central, searchable knowledge base and keep content current as systems change.

Deliver and Enable

• Facilitate workshops, floor‑walking sessions, clinics, and one‑on‑one coaching, both in person and virtually.
• Recruit, train, and support a network of departmental digital champions who provide peer‑level help.
• Provide targeted onboarding support for new hires and for teams going through a system change.

Measure & Improve

• Define and report on adoption and proficiency metrics - feature usage, session/ task completion, assessment scores, confidence ratings.
• Run feedback loops after each program and revise content based on what the data and users say.
• Report progress and risks to the Digital Adoption Manager/leadership on a regular cadence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Information Technology, Organizational Change, Learning Enablement) or equivalent experience.
• 4 years in digital enablement, learning and development, training delivery, IT support, or a comparable role where you taught technology to non-technical users.
• Strong working knowledge of common workplace platforms (Microsoft 365, Teams, Viva Engage, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.) to teach employees.
• Demonstrated ability to design learning materials from scratch, including written guides and video or screen‑capture content.
• Confident facilitator with groups of mixed skill levels and mixed enthusiasm.
• Comfortable with data analytics: able to pull, read, and act on usage and assessment metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical concepts without jargon and without condescension.
• Patience and genuine interest in helping people who find technology intimidating.
