The core role of the Digital Designer is to develop digital training content for Contact Centre Colleagues. The role involves producing various forms of media outputs to a high standard, including interactive digital lessons, information guides, videos, animations, and presentations.
The Digital Designer role will work within the Digital Learning Design team, as part of the Contact Centre Training Team. The role provides an opportunity for colleagues to develop their skills in the use of design and authoring tool technology including the Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate 360 products.
What you need to do
- Create professional and engaging digital learning modules from a storyboard, template, or similar instructions.
- Maintain and work to a consistent standardized look and feel to produce effective, learner-focused content.
- Understand and follow consistency and brand guidelines and execute them successfully in practice.
- Consult key stakeholders such as subject matter experts, operation teams, Training leads and the rest of the Digital Design Team to ensure content is accurate and up to date.
- Work with the Training Delivery team to review, update and amend modules where necessary.
- Write scripts that are grammatically accurate, well-articulated and follow an instructive but friendly tone.
- Capture and record audio/video material using appropriate recording technology and devices.
- Seek and achieve sign‑off of modules and content from relevant stakeholders.
- Be skilled at reviewing, assessing, and testing content produced by both you and your peers.
- Review feedback and make accurate amendments to improve outputs.
- Communicate effectively and work positively with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and to high standards.
