Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is hiring a Virtual Account Opening Officer to engage DAO fallout clients and drive end-to-end virtual account openings. You will manage lead reactivation, eligibility assessments, and timely follow-ups while ensuring compliance with KYC and regulatory standards.

The role involves reviewing documents, coordinating with clients to obtain missing items, and guiding applicants through the digital onboarding journey. Onsite work at BPI Buendia Center is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business with related field.
• Preferably 1+ year in Sales, Banking Operations, Customer Service, Telesales, Account Opening, or Client Relationship Management.
• Experience in onboarding, lead generation/conversion, or virtual client engagement is a plus.
• Banking/financial services experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML processes is an advantage.
• Willing to be onsite at BPI Buendia Center.

Responsibilities

• Engage and reactivate DAO fallout leads through approved channels.
• Assess interest, eligibility, and readiness to open an account.
• Follow up and maintain records of client interactions.
• Facilitate virtual account opening applications and verify KYC/documents.
• Review submitted documents for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with clients to resolve missing requirements within timelines.
• Conduct virtual account opening sessions per standards.
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence for high-risk clients and escalate as needed.
• Endorse applications to the appropriate units and monitor activation.
• Provide timely updates and guidance throughout onboarding.
• Promote enrollment in digital platforms and educate on benefits.
• Uphold the Bank's brand and exceptional customer experience.
