Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud infrastructure, and automate deployment and monitoring across development and production systems. This role emphasizes collaboration with development and operations teams to improve reliability and release cycles.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in a related field, 3+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering, and hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, scripting (Bash/Python), and IaC tools.

Your Role

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and environments for scalability, performance, and security.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes across development and production systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and release cycles.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and ensure environment consistency across stages.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with scripting or programming in Bash, Python, or similar languages.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or fast‑paced delivery environments.
