Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms and shared infrastructure services. You will develop scalable tooling and automation to enhance developer productivity and reliability, while supporting CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.

Applicants should have 3+ years in DevOps/SRE/platform roles, strong cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and scripting skills (Python/Go/Bash).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation.

Your Role:

As a Platform Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms and shared infrastructure services.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation

Preferred skills/expertise

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Understanding of developer platforms, internal tooling, or IDP concepts
• Experience working in Agile or high-scale engineering environments
