Job summary

somewhere is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Associate (Tier 1) to join our accounts receivable team in the Philippines. The role requires accurate payment application across various payment types and effective communication with customers primarily via email.

The ideal candidate will have 0–2 years of cash application/AR experience, be proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and Excel, and possess excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 0–2 years in cash application or AR.
• Strong Excel and ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite).
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to resolve payment discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Accurately apply customer payments to invoices in the ERP.
• Investigate and resolve unapplied cash and discrepancies.
• Manage remittance information from banks and portals.
• Communicate with customers via voice and email.
• Perform daily/monthly cash postings reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Collections, Billing, and Disputes teams.
• Suggest process improvements for cash application.
