Job summary

somewhere in the Philippines is seeking a Cash Application Associate (Tier 1) to join our accounts receivable team. The role focuses on timely and accurate application of customer payments and collaboration with Collections, Billing, and Disputes to resolve discrepancies.

You will process payments via ACH, wire, checks, and cards in our ERP, reconcile postings, and support month-end closing. Strong Excel and ERP experience with SAP/Oracle/NetSuite preferred; Mandarin language ability is required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 0–2+ years experience in cash application or AR.
• Strong English communication.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Payment Application: Accurately apply all incoming customer payments to correct invoices in the ERP.
• Exception Handling: Investigate unapplied cash, short payments, and other discrepancies promptly.
• Remittance Management: Retrieve and manage remittance info from bank statements and portals.
• Customer Communication: Interact professionally via voice and email to request remittance details.
• Reconciliation: Perform daily/monthly cash postings reconciliations for month-end close.
• Internal Collaboration: Work with Collections, Billing, and Disputes to resolve issues.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve cash application efficiency.
