Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive hardware and software support for desktop and end-user computing in a dynamic environment. You will diagnose and troubleshoot issues, perform repairs on servers, desktops, notebooks, tablets, and printers, and manage software upgrades and security patches.

The role requires strong knowledge of Windows 10-11, mobile devices, Office 365, MS Intune, AD administration, and network diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Provide effective technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10-11 and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
• Perform hardware and software support for desktops and end-user computing.
• Conduct hardware repairs on servers, desktops, notebooks, tablets, and printers.
• Upgrade software and perform configuration enhancements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on hardware.
• Log all user requests and follow standard procedures.
• Test and deploy security patches to clients.
• Participate in software and hardware rollouts to maintain standards.
• Educate nontechnical users effectively.
• Work within a ticketing system for issue tracking.
• Use diagnostic tools to resolve network and workstation problems.
• Load, copy, and customize OS configurations for deployment.
• Perform standard preventative maintenance on IT equipment.
• Repair and service computer hardware and peripherals.
• Customize desktop hardware to meet user needs and site standards.
• Return defective parts to inventory and manage spare parts levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10-11 and mobile devices and guide users.
• Repair hardware on desktops, laptops, servers, and printers.
• Deploy software upgrades and security patches across devices.
