ASPAP Construction Corp. seeks a Design Engineer II - Civil Structural to perform civil and structural design for power system projects, including substations and foundations.
You will develop layouts and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and STAAD, and ensure compliance with codes and specifications. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Architecture, is PRC licensed, has 3–5 years of design experience, and can START ASAP.
Perform civil and structural design and engineering for power system projects, including substations, transmission line tower foundations, generating stations, and related facilities.
Prepare plant layouts, overhead and underground layouts, and structural design plans.
Develop detailed engineering drawings using civil, architectural, and structural design software.
Conduct design studies, feasibility assessments, and technical evaluations.
Prepare material take-offs, cost estimates, and technical bid evaluations.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and project stakeholders regarding technical requirements.
Witness acceptance tests and evaluate equipment and system performance when required.
Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering codes, standards, and specifications.
Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and project records.
Assist in resolving technical design issues and provide engineering solutions.
Perform other engineering and administrative duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
PRC License required.
3-5 years of experience in the design of plant layouts, foundations, and structural systems, preferably within the power industry.
Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, or equivalent).
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
