Job summary

Global Electric Power Development Corporation in Bulacan is seeking a CAD EDS Structural Designer to translate client requirements into safe, code-compliant infrastructure designs. You will prepare conceptual and formal drawings using CAD and related software, review structural calculations, and coordinate with engineers to ensure designs meet NSCP, PEC and DPWH standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of design experience, a PE/CIVIL license (PRC), and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with PRC license.
• 3–5 years design experience in infrastructure/energy projects.
• Proficiency in CAD, structural and electrical design software.
• Knowledge of Philippine codes NSCP, PEC, DPWH standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide design plans that meet client requirements aligned with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with Owner’s Engineer and third-party engineers for design revisions.
• Design safe and sustainable infrastructure and systems per project contract and specs.
• Prepare conceptual and formal drawings using CAD or other engineering software.
• Interpret drawings and structural calculations for project execution.
• Review designs and structural calculations for PV plant, piling, MS supports, roads, drainage, and water systems.
• Ensure designs consider planning, survey, elevation, electrical, and landscaping needs.
• Oversee project execution and adjust as necessary to meet design specifications.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides design plans that meet the client’s requirements that’s also aligned with the code and specifications/standards implied by the Government & ensures that every aspect of the design is adequate.
• Coordinates with Owner’s Engineer (OE) and third-party engineers (if applicable) regarding any possible revision to the design due to improper/inadequate design or unaccounted site condition that clashes with the design plan.
• Designing safe and sustainable infrastructure, structure and system that will satisfy the requirement of the Project as per Contract and Specifications.
• Preparing conceptual and formal drawings of Project requirements using CAD programs or other engineering software.
• Interpreting civil engineering drawings, building and structure plans, transmitting the information into the operation team for execution.
• Prepare and review designs and structural calculations for PV Plant, Piling, MS support structures, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer and water system.
• Ensuring the design have taken into account associated planning, survey and elevation, electrical, landscaping requirements.
• Read, review and interpret drawings, structural calculations, presentations and other factors that could affect the construction of the PV plant and other structures.
• Overseeing the execution of projects and making adjustments as necessary to ensure constructed as design and specifications to the highest standards.
• Collecting and analyzing feedback from customers and other project users to gauge satisfaction and success.
• Perform other related duties as instructed by immediate supervisor time to time.
