Job summary

ILO CONSTRUCTION, INC. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design for warehouse and industrial facilities in the Philippines.

The role covers analysis, detailing, and drawings for steel, concrete, and masonry systems, aligned with architectural intent and construction practicality. You will coordinate with architectural, civil, and MEP teams, produce calculations and specs per NSCP, ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7, review shop drawings, support site modifications, and contribute to value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (structural specialty preferred).
• 3–5 years in design-build including warehouse/industrial facilities.
• Experience in steel and reinforced concrete structures.
• Proficient with structural design software and codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Develop conceptual and detailed designs aligned with architectural intent.

Job description

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures for buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Develop conceptual and detailed designs that align with architectural intent and construction practicality.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and specifications based on NSCP, ACI, AISC, and ASCE standards.
• Coordinate closely with architectural, civil, and MEP teams to achieve integrated design solutions.
• Provide technical support to construction teams, addressing design clarifications, RFls, and site modifications.
• Conduct value engineering and cost optimization, balancing safety, performance, and economy.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure design compliance during construction.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and site engineers.
• Perform structural inspections and issue reports or recommendations as needed.
• Ensure that all designs meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards of the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer (Structural specialty preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in design-build projects including warehouse and industrial facilities, with experience in both in steel and reinforced concrete structures
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD and AutoCAD,
• Strong knowledge of NSCP, ACI, AISC, and ASCE 7 codes and standards.
• Understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and material behavior.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
