Job summary

Farecom Logistics Services in Metro Manila is seeking a detail‑minded logistics assistant to handle documentary compliance and shipment processing. You will verify arrival documents, compute duties and taxes, and prepare files for client approval and carrier handling.

Duties include drafting lodgements, coordinating with shipping lines, monitoring shipments, and arranging trucking. This on‑site role demands accuracy, timely updates to clients, and willingness to handle additional client requests

Responsibilities

• Check arrival of shipments and verify documents received
• Verify document details and requirements upon receipt of copies
• Compute duties and taxes prior to arrival
• Send EDT to clients for approval before arrival
• Draft entry lodgements
• Prepare documents for shipping line processing and DO requests
• Request payments for shipping line charges and forwarding fees for DO issuance
• Continuously monitor shipment status and update clients
• Send SAD and FAN copies to clients for duties payment
• Schedule trucks for deliveries
• Apply for permits when required
• Perform other client-requested tasks
• Obtain permits and clearance for trucking
• Handle all documentation for our truckings

• Checking of Documents Details and Requirements (Once Received of Copy of Docs)
• Computing Of Duties and Taxes (On or Before Arrival)
• Sending EDT to clients for Approval (On or Before Arrival)
• Drafting lodgement of Entries
• Preparing documents for shipping line processing/DO requesting
• Requesting payments for shipping line/Forwarding charges for issuance of DO
• Continuous monitoring of shipments status and updating it to clients
• Sending copy of SAD and FAN to clients for payments of duties
• Scheduling of truck for deliveries
• Application of permits if required
• Other tasks that may request by the clients
• Application of Permits and Clearance for truckings
• Handling All Documentations for our Truckings.
