Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Deal Analyst to support the Deal Strategy team with contract drafting, amendments, and approvals. The role focuses on handling straightforward drafting tasks, guiding Sales on deal management, and ensuring timely execution of agreements.

You will draft basic contracts, coordinate with Legal and Sales, and manage amendments while adhering to SOPs across global time zones. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Salesforce case management experience preferred.
• 3+ years in a deal support role within a tech environment.
• Proven track record in manual and automated processes.
• Prior contracting or similar roles preferred.
• Proficiency in drafting/editing contracts using SOPs.
• Able to work across AMER, EMEA, and APAC time zones.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct approvals and reviews based on complexity.
• Handle edits requested by sellers and confirm supportability.
• Collaborate with multiple teams for case resolution.
• Adjust contract language for commercial terms (pricing managed separately).
• Triage cases based on type, complexity, and deal size.
• Use quoting tools and handle scenarios not built in CPQ.
• Coordinate with Monetization Ops for onboarding and edit validation.
• Liaise with Legal and Sales teams.

Job description

Provide manual contract drafting support for Deal Strategy (Medium Complexity). The Deal Strategy team is responsible for drafting, structuring, and executing pricing agreements that clients sign. The Sr. Deal Analyst supports the team by handling more straightforward contract drafting responsibilities. Draft basic contracts, amendments, and adjustments, and ensure all required approvals are obtained for accurate execution. Deliver a fluctuating volume of tasks within defined timelines while maintaining consistent quality. Provide guidance to Sales on best practices for deal management and contract structuring.
