Job summary

Accenture PLC in the Philippines is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase requests and their conversion into purchase orders, fully compliant with client procurement policies. You will manage post-PO issues with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include partnering with spend sub-categories, coordinating with Legal and Corporate Finance, and supporting global procurement strategies.

POSITION TITLE: Procurement Operations SpecialistWORK SETUP: Return to Office

OVERALL PURPOSE: Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase requests (PR) and their conversion into purchase orders (PO) fully compliant with client procurement/disbursement policies; Manage all post PO issues with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a business partner on the assigned spend sub-categories. Engage business & corporate function leadership to understand & support business priorities.
• Collaborate closely with corporate functions (e.g., Legal, Corporate Finance, etc.) in the accurate and timely delivery of P+ services.
• Influence & adopt global strategies & tools used throughout the procure to payment lifecycle.
• Liase with the Sourcing & Category Management Lead
• Process PRs and manage POs, and onboard and maintain suppliers of the assigned categories. Seek out procurement solutions, working in partnership with client stakeholders and suppliers, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of procured goods and services.
  • Triaging and processing PRs; Ensuring compliance to client policies and rejecting/returning non-compliant PRs
  • Converting PRs into fully compliant POs and issuing them to suppliers
  • Managing POs including amending POs as necessary until closure, cancellation or reopening of POs if requested by authorized stakeholders
  • Maintaining procurement data – including master data or purchase information records (PIRs) and systems/tool
  • Onboarding suppliers and maintain supplier master data; Manage supplier relationship
  • Providing front-end system support for procurement platforms (e.g., Zip, Oracle) by troubleshooting issues and assisting with user inquiries related to procurement processes
  • Ensuring internal and external stakeholders are informed of the status of their POs in the full procure to pay lifecycle
• Continuous improvements to the Operational Purchasing process are sought & implemented as appropriate

People Management Responsibilities

Support the P+ Sourcing & Category Lead. Provide requirements, priorities, & feedback to the procurement team/s. Drive relevant portions of annual performance achievement processes. Sponsor training & career development for team members. Promote positive work environment & engagement for the team.

SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Procurement
• At least 3 years supervisory experience
