Job summary

S&R Membership Shopping in Biñan, Laguna, is seeking a detail‑oriented Buying/Procurement Specialist to manage replenishment for regular items at the distribution center and stores. You will auto-create POs, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with vendors to ensure on‑time delivery and accurate quantities.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and about 2 years in buying or procurement, strong MS Excel and MMS skills, good communication, and solid analytical abilities; on‑site work is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle replenishment of regular items for the DC for local/imported vendors.

• Ensure no stockouts in DC or stores and correct item quantities.
• Endorse orders with Allocation to manage auto replenishment.
• Monitor inbound receiving and vendor performance.
• Coordinate with Manager to attain objectives and execute planned actions.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to handle replenishment of regular items coming to the DC for local / imported vendors.

2. Responsible to auto create purchase order using EDI / IPS

3. Responsible to ensure the following:

• No out of stocks for regular items in the DC and in the stores

• Right quantity of items is delivered by vendor

• Ordered items are delivered at the right time in the DC

• Discontinued items are not re-ordered

1. In-charge of maintaining the right quantity and inventory of stocks in the DC and ensure that inventory is enough for store inventory requirement.

2. Analyses reports to provide accurate order and revise ETAs as necessary.

3. Ensures all orders are properly documented and monitored.

4. Ensures that agreed standard ordering and delivery requirements are followed by the vendor.

5. Align with vendor service level performance for ordering and delivery planning.

6. Sees to it that all Buying department update (item status and special orders) are considered upon ordering.

7. Sees to it that all items for ordering is endorsed with Allocation department to manage auto replenishment of items in the stores.

8. Oversees Inbound department receiving concerns and performance.

9. Visualizes and anticipates new challenges and develop practical solutions.

10. Responsible to discuss and material findings that needs urgent action.

11. Coordinates proposed plans and ideas to the Manager to attain the desired objectives.

12. Facilitates other tasks that Fulfillment Manager delegates.

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate with a bachelor's degree in any field

• Preferably with 2 years related experience in Buying/Procurement/Supply Management

• Proficient in MS Excel and MMS
