Job description

Responsibilities:

• Ensure full availability of inventory in the warehouse at all times.
• Maintain product quality in line with supplier agreements.
• Collaborate with different departments to improve overall company performance.
• Manage and approve all supplier orders.
• Inspect the quality of incoming goods.
• Decide on returning defective or non-compliant items to suppliers.
• Review customer complaints about product quality and take appropriate action.
• Maintain fast inventory turnover and minimize stock holding days.
• Adjust order quantities based on price changes or anticipated shortages.
• Review supplier invoices and forward them for payment processing.
• Ensure corrections are made by suppliers for any incorrect invoices.
• Manage the sale or redistribution of excess inventory to nearby regions.
• Escalate unresolved pricing or supplier issues to the reporting manager.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, preferably within retail or trading industries.
• Demonstrated ability to handle supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and maintain product quality.
• Experience in cost control and resolving supplier-related issues.
