First Focus is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Internal IT team in Manila. You’ll help keep our systems, applications and technology secure, reliable and well-behaved.

This role spans internal support, systems administration, application maintenance, security and automation, with plenty of opportunity to improve how things work and to contribute to projects. Day shift in Manila keeps evenings free for family or friends.

Qualifications

• Solid systems administration background with ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate when needed.
• Experience supporting Microsoft-based business environments.

Responsibilities

• Support internal users and resolve technical issues across the IT environment.
• Administer and maintain operating systems, applications and internal technology platforms.
• Keep systems and applications patched, updated and properly maintained.
• Investigate technical and security issues and drive them to resolution.
• Manage support requests from initial investigation through completion or escalation.
• Plan and implement changes with minimal business disruption.
• Identify repetitive tasks and opportunities for automation.
• Support internal IT projects, deployments and technology improvements.
• Maintain clear, useful technical documentation and procedures.
• Help new employees get comfortable with First Focus systems and technology.
• Work with vendors for external support when required.
• Share knowledge and help team members develop their technical capability.
• Keep people informed when something isn't working.
• Provide occasional planned or reactive support outside normal hours.
