Qualifications

• Solid systems administration background
• Experience with Microsoft-based business environments
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
• Interest in automation and improving repetitive tasks
• Good technical documentation habits
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing operation and improvement of internal IT environment
• Administer and maintain operating systems, applications and internal platforms
• Keep systems and apps patched, updated and maintained
• Investigate technical and security issues and drive to resolution
• Manage support requests from investigation to completion or escalation
• Plan and implement changes with minimal business disruption
• Identify repetitive tasks and opportunities for automation
• Support internal IT projects, deployments and technology improvements
• Maintain clear technical documentation and procedures
• Help new employees get comfortable with First Focus systems and technology
• Work with vendors when external support is required
• Share knowledge to grow the team’s capabilities
• Keep stakeholders informed when issues arise
• Provide planned or reactive support outside normal hours when required
