Job summary

Shopee is seeking a Data Privacy professional to perform audits across the organization and its entities, develop response plans, and monitor regulatory compliance. The role collaborates with Legal and Information Security teams to assess processing activities and manage privacy risk.

The candidate will also help create policies, drive data privacy awareness training, and support ongoing initiatives to meet the Data Privacy Act requirements and organizational risk management objectives.

Responsibilities

• Performs privacy audits throughout the organization and its entities.
• Creates and manages effective response plans in response to audit results.
• Establishes an effective tracking and monitoring system for regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Aids in assessment of activities, policies and procedures which involve processing of personal data to manage risks.
• Aids in creation of policies and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Aids in creation and facilitation of training programs for Data Privacy Awareness.
• Performs tasks to aid the organization in achieving its goal of compliance with the Data Privacy Act and management of risks associated with Data Processing Activities.
